This support will aid the club in enhancing its facilities, equipment and community outreach programs that aim to further strengthen their ability to compete at higher levels and provide a platform for emerging rugby players to display their skills.
Trukai Industries’ Marketing Manager Maryanne Tom was enthusiastic about the partnership and explained their support towards the Rugby Union Club.
“Sports, health and wellbeing are a part our core values, that is why we have decided to support the Harlequins Rugby Union Club as their work for community, team development and health aligns with ours”, said Tom.

President of the Harlequins Rugby Union Club Hubert Kikira was appreciative of the support stating that it will be a boost for his team.
“This support will allow us to improve our infrastructure and offer better opportunities for our players. As part of our team’s social activities, we look forward to partnering with Trukai Industries to raise funds to support charitable organizations as part of our Community Based Program," said Kikira.
In addition, the club has a financial literacy program that helps empower young players to make informed decisions about their finances.
“The literacy program is aligned with one of the clubs aim which is to invest in the future and let rugby be the sphere of influence in building great people for great results on and off the field,” Kikira said.
Trukai Industries remains dedicated to fostering sports development in communities and looks forward to witnessing the positive impact of this sponsorship on the Harlequins Rugby Union Club.
