Safety Traffic Controller

Trukai Industries Limited currently has a vacancy for a Safety Traffic Controller position in our
Safety department. This position will report to the SH&E Safety Traffic Control Coordinator. 

The role will be responsible for coordinating the movement of heavy and light vehicles, forklifts and
other powered mobile plants operating within Trukai sites by controlling pedestrian movement and
complying with each site traffic management plan along with other site specific safety
requirements. 
 
Key Requirements

•  Grade 12 Certificate 
•  5 years’ experience in a similar role
•  Basic Occupational Health & Safety Skills/Knowledge
•  Experience in coordinating the movement of vehicles and other Powered Mobile Plants
•  Experience in directing and controlling pedestrians 
•  Good Reporting Skills
• Good Communication Skills both written & verbal
•  Ability to comprehend and articulate a Traffic Management Plan
• Knowledge and understanding of potential hazards and job demands in a manufacturing
• environment. 
• Interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationship with all stake holders.
