Production Shift Manager

Trukai Industries Limited is seeking a passionate and self–driven Production Shift Manager to join the Manufacturing Team. This role is based in Lae and will report to the Manufacturing Manager.

As the Production Shift Manager, you will be fully responsible for planned production, inventory, and stock control of raw & packaging materials. This also includes leading a team whose primary responsibility is ensuring production targets. 

You will also be responsible for identifying and driving opportunities for continuous improvement  across the manufacturing team as well as ensuring that the existing process & equipment are managed for optimum efficiency, cost & output and that plans and strategies are in place to develop the process to meet short, medium & long-term goals

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences preferably in Food Technology 
• Minimum of 5 years experience in an FMCG company
• An understanding of HACCP and GMP principles
• Ability to lead and monitor production efficiency, including raw and packaging materials
• Strong people-oriented leader with the ability to be hands-on and build engagement across the workforce.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time management and attention to detail 
• Strong planning and organizational skills 
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficient in OHSE protocols
• Computer literate in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and MS Word
