Production Coordinator

Trukai Industries Limited is seeking a passionate and self–driven Production Coordinator to join
the Manufacturing Team. This role is based in Lae and will report to the Manufacturing Manager.

As the Production Coordinator, you will be fully responsible for planned production, inventory, and
stock control of raw packaging material. This includes leading a team whose primary responsibility
is ensuring production targets are met; customer orders are delivered on time and in full while
controlling costs of production, and delivering against Safety and Quality expectations.

You will also be responsible for identifying and driving opportunities for continuous improvement
across the manufacturing team as well as ensuring that the existing process & equipment is
managed for optimum efficiency, cost & output and that plans and strategies are in place to
develop the process to meet short, medium & long-term needs.

Key Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Food Technology or related
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an FMCG company
An understanding of HACCP and GMP principles
Ability to lead and monitor production efficiency, labour utilisation and raw material usage with the production teams
Strong people-oriented leader with the ability to be hands on and build engagement across the workforce.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Has planning and organizational skills
Must have a continuous improvement mindset
Proficient in OHSE protocols
Computer literate in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and MS Word
