Field Officer – Central Province

Trukai Industries Limited is seeking a passionate and self-driven applicant to join our Rice
Development Department as a Field Officer, based at the Pacific Adventist University, Central
Province.

This position will provide rice farmers the practical application of rice farming techniques and
equipment through field trainings and also provide support to machinery repair through regular
farmer field visits.

Key Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture or similar
Experience in facilitating and coordinating training in Agriculture
Liaise professionally with stakeholders where required
Customer oriented
Must have strong communication skills in both English and Tok Pisin languages
Strong planning and organizing skills
Self-motivated & a team player
Familiar with the operations of a safety oriented work culture
Proficient with Microsoft Office
