Trukai Industries Limited has a vacancy for a Brand Manager based in Port Moresby with our Marketing Department. This position will report to the Marketing Manager.

As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Marketing Manager in developing Trukai’s brand strategies and managing all its brand and product portfolios. This includes overseeing the development of all its brand campaigns, the overall brand image, new product development, and research and innovation to build and maintain brand equity in the market.

The role will work cross-functionally with other departments within Trukai and include regular liaisons with external stakeholders. The role will give you the opportunity to work with two of PNG’s most iconic, household names, the Trukai and Roots brands.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Marketing
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role in an FMCG company
• Experienced in Market and Consumer Research including working with external research companies
• Development of brand architecture experience including building brand profiles, brand guidelines, etc and working with marketing agencies
• Be able to manage budgets
• Strong planning and organizing capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent negotiation abilities
• Able to lead and direct small and large teams

• Professional and able to work under pressure
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications
• Current driver’s license
